About the Dive Bar Dashers

Description

          The Dive Bar Dashers is a group of St. Louisn's searching for the best local dive bar. On Wednesday night of each week the Dive Bar Dashers visit a different local dive bar. Members take turns selecting the bar. The purpose of Dive Bar Dashers is to drink a lot and have fun while finding and rating new (for us) dive bars.

Dive Bars

Dive Bar: A drinking establishment with a dated or run down appearance and atmosphere. Drinks tend to be cheap and of low quality, but frequently are of a high alcohol content. Since dives lack an appealing atmosphere, people tend to frequent dives for the sole purpose of drinking inexpensively, though sometimes there are regulars who appreciate the laid back atmosphere. Dive bars often have outdoor commercial signage that appears dated.
